Circa 2019 – Showtime Hit TV Series “The L Word” – It’s a Karaoke Dj Wrap Party! Why are they dancing and not doing Karaoke? I’ll tell you in a moment.

Karaoke Dj vs. Party Dj Music
Indeed the saying “if a picture can speak”. We were basically hired to do karaoke. However, just before the client booked us we mentioned that we focus on guests dancing.
Generally when we work with wrap parties there is a non-disclosure agreement. This was the Hit TV Series on Showtime called “The L Word” which subsequently did not require an NDA. Likewise this party took place in November I believe.
Star Struck karaoke Dj?
Furthermore if you look close and know the show, you will see some of the stars of the show dancing in this picture. Nonetheless I didn’t have Showtime so, as I was talking with one of the guests for about 10 minutes, I didn’t realize she was a main character. Occasionally this happens. Rather than her singing, she actually instead decided to volunteer some of her fellow crew to sing in place for her. She specifically was humorously getting even she said for pranks. Thus the actors and crew are family I guess.
Unlike our signature service called the ‘Dj Party format’ the Karaoke is implemented as secondary to dancing. Obviously a packed dance floor equates to a good karaoke Dj. Secondly, I’m a Dj and rose through the ranks by keeping dance floors full once the event’s dance portion of the party started.
Significantly over the years, I noticed some guests would pick a super sad song killing the mood; with the seriousness of the sad drama of a slow song. Thereupon now I consult clients to know specifically and in the contract that by hiring me, clients hereby give us authority of the order of the singers mixed in with party songs to balance the party.
Sing and Dance
In conclusion it’s a blessing when libations are consumed and women want to dance. Whereas, if a terrible slow, sad and depressing song is sung, our dj staff follow up with a party song. Eventually singers in waiting take notice and a hint and sign up songs suitable for a fun and festive mood. During the booking process the client asked for a photo booth along with the karaoke dj however, we had not integrated that service back in 2019.
Lastly, our corporate event dj packages are capable of a dj only format. The same professional wedding dj type of care is implemented and is available for djs for kids as well. #karakedj #thelword #djservices
