The Karaoke Dj boat ride idea

Rather than have a party on land, how about on the water? Indeed this is a favorite place to perform as a Dj. Why? Well obviously a Dj wants to Rock the Boat! However, before that happens firstly all the passengers are safely boarded onto the ship. During the cruise the Captain does a little zig zag around the marina too! Evidently the same zig zag technic was used in WWII to avoid torpedoes, just sayin 🙂

How does the party start?

Eventually the 45 minute cocktail hour transitions into buffet line. Then the guests chow down despite appetizers and libations for the first hour. Besides a scenic view there is the ocean air to enjoy on the trip through the marina. Sounds nice right? Who wouldn’t want to enjoy a free boat trip and get paid as the karaoke dj in the process?

In this picture is that upstairs floor I just described and all the passengers are on the first level enjoying the first of many libations. The trip is only 3 hours and we have a 4 hour minimum now and client must book our photo booth too (problem solved)

Karaoke DJ & Accessibility Fees?

First, as a vendor, you have to park your vehicle to unload at the nearest point of the loading dock. Evidently it’s almost 100 yards of distance from vehicle to boat. Conversely as you get to the last 50 feet, the walkway is only 5 feet wide and equipment can easily fall off your cart and into the water.

Despite getting past that scary moment, as waves are splashing, your cart full of equipment begins to wobble. Thirdly you have to unload the cart and pile it in front of boat entrance. Meanwhile you carry equipment by hand, through the back of the boat and up a hair pin tight stairs that are vertical. Comparatively the stairs might as well be a ladder. The stairs basically are vertical and go up to the floor where the karaoke dj package will reside for the event.
