What’s unique about karaoke kids?

Circa 2018 – Firstly let’s start with this picture. Obviously they are dancing and not doing karaoke. Nonetheless they are enjoy acting in plays; theatre enthusiast also known as thespian Teens. So, now let’s match up Non-Thespian kids vs. Theatre kids. What’s the difference? Read below.

What song are they dancing to?

I’ll tell you the answer in a moment but, basically this event was a Sweet 16 Birthday party. Once the party started they hit the swimming pool outside. Meanwhile the bar-b-cue was grilling. At this point we were just arriving, unloading and setting up for the karaoke dj party.

Following the swimming pool, they dried off. Then the start of the singing and dancing begun. Obviously the kids are unique or were eating something special because their energy level after 4 hours of swimming was off the charts. Seriously, yes, kids have energy but apparently theatre kids have 5x times the stamina.

A Karaoke party like no other

I’ve been djing since the 2nd second grade. Usually I book a party like this when it’s pool swimming fun and a bar-b-cue starting at lets say 2pm invite but then the kids burn out at 7pm. Then the kids go inside for a movie and then the adults start the dj party music, enjoy libations and some Karaoke and dancing. dance.

However, these young actors were up to the task and did not get tired. Well done “Thespians”! All Grit!!!

Singing vs. Dancing

Mr Dj Services was on hand for the dj music and line dancing but switching to singing for the kids as well. We did not offer the photo booth option back then however, our package called The Karaoke Dj Party for kids is carefully balanced. By having kid singers back to back and then a party dance song for the next 2-3 songs and then back to singing. It works like a charm.

Need a venue idea?

This client informed us about the clubhouse this party was being hosted at. She stated that her friend lives in this community and there is only small fee to reserve the clubhouse which made it ideal to use her budget on professional services like the karaoke dj, caterer and a clean up crew. Apparently there was a $500 deposit to ensure the clubhouse was restored back to it’s original setting. Sounds fair enough as the Mom client kept the kids heart rate going by making them clean, mop and reset the tables and chairs. Well done kids!
